Eddy

Field software that runs a pool route from the truck, offline.

Eddy

A pool technician spends the day in gardens, often without a usable signal, and needs to record readings, work out the right dose of chemicals, and leave the customer with evidence the visit happened.

Eddy does all three from the truck. The technician enters the water readings, Eddy computes the exact dose, and the visit becomes a clean branded report the homeowner receives. Everything works with no connection at all and syncs the moment there is one.

Two things make it the interesting one to look at. The dosing calculation has to be right, because someone acts on it in a real pool. And the whole app has to assume the network is missing rather than treat that as an error — which changes how the data is designed, not just how it is displayed.

What this one demonstrates

Offline-first field operations: a domain calculation people rely on, and sync that survives a day without signal.
